Our Roots
Wheeland Lumber Company (WLC) is a third-generation, family-owned company business that was started in 1940. Hard work, honesty, and determination are the values that motivate the people in our company and are the basis for our continued growth in the industry.

Our roots go deep into the lumber industry and through the years, we have grown and expanded through moderization. We have never lost sight of the need for honesty and integrity, and do our best to gain and keep the respect and good will of our customers.

WLC's facility is located in the Appalachian Mountains in Northeastern Pennsylvania. We manufacture and distribute Northern Appalachian American hardwoods in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim.

Through the implementation of our Forest Management Plan, we continue to preserve the future of our vast Appalachian forest area for many generations to come.
