Sustainable Forestry Initiative of Pennsylvania	The Sustainable Forestry Initiative program is a voluntary, industry-driven effort developed to ensure that future generations will have the same abundant, healthy, and productive resources we enjoy today.
	SmartWood's purpose is to improve the effectiveness of sustainable forestry in conserving biodiversity and providing equity for local communities, fair treatment to workers, and creating incentives for businesses so that they can benefit economically from responsible forestry practices.
